Marie Curie Cancer Care
Marie Curie's existing eCards platform was updated for Christmas 2011 allowing users to send eCards to their Facebook friends, either by posting to their Facebook Wall, sending a Facebook message or posting to the user's own Facebook Wall, as well as the traditional email delivery method. The application used the Facebook API to pull a user's friends into the application and create wall posts and messages from the user's account.

A Facebook application promoting 20 walking events across the country for Marie Curie. Users were driven to the application from a regionally-targetted Facebook advertising campaign, and could then view more information, pictures and a map of the venue, before clicking through to buy tickets for the event.

- Blooming Great Tea Party
Marie Curie Cancer Care
A Facebook application to allow Marie Curie supporters to sign up to host a tea party. Users were driven from wall posts and a Facebook advertising campaign to sign up or suggest friends who would be 'perfect tea party hosts'. The application was integrated with an SMS and eCRM programme which triggered a series of messages to help the supporters prepare for their party. Over 1,000 hosts signed up, bringing in an estimated revenue of £250,000.

- The Great Daffodil Appeal

A Facebook application which allowed supporters to add a daffodil to their Facebook profile picture, as well as leave a message about why they are supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care. The app's primary aim was to spread awareness of Marie Curie and to encourage people to wear a daffodil during March. Over 130,000 daffodils were added to profile pictures and 9,200 stories posted, which in turn drove drove over 45,000 new likes to the Marie Curie Facebook page. Overall the our Facebook activity during the Great Daffodil Appeal grew our 'Like' fan base from 42,000 to 275,000.

A Facebook application to capture potential volunteers for Marie Curie's annual Great Daffodil Appeal. Users were driven from Facebook adverts asking them to 'Give an Hour'. In 2 months over 4,750 people volunteered their time through the app bringing in an estimated revenue of £475,000.

Marie Curie Cancer Care
A mobile application for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Nokia phones which allows users to collect money from their friends by way of text donations. The user selects their friends and the application sends them a message to say they're fundraising. Their friends can then donate, and the user gets a running total of how much they've raised.

Marie Curie Cancer Care
To capitalise on Marie Curie's partnership with the Football League, and Chris Kamara climbing Killimanjaro for the charity we created a soundboard of some of Chris' most famous soundbites. The interest the app generated resulted in 5 new registrations to climb Kilimanjaro and 8,000 email addresses collected for future marketing activity.

A facebook application to display the progress of Football League clubs in their fundraising efforts for the Charity of the Year partnership 2010/11. Users could share the top 3 clubs on their Facebook wall and donate on behalf of their club by text message.

I project-managed a complete rebuild of the Kerrang! website, including a new design, cms and content-structure. The work was completed on a very tight deadline of just two months, with a team of three - the site is still used to this day.

I worked on the idea, project-managed the build and wrote on this blog previewing the 2005 Glastonbury Festival. During the festival it switched to a live-blog where five roving reporters went around the festival with mobile phones uploading stories, photos and video. It was awarded Best Innovation at the 2005 AOP Awards.
